Oneplus's first folding cell phone can be an Oppo which is renamed

Samsung is quite dominating the smartphone space that can be folded today, and even though companies such as Huawei, Motorola, Oppo, and honor have released a telephone in the past, none of these devices that officially managed to reach the US, the only folding device Consumers at A.S. Having been able to buy is the Moto RAZR series from Motorola and Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip Series from Samsung.

With Google and Apple it is likely that it is still far from launching their own folding model, no doubt there is a gap in the market that smartphone brands can exploit – and now it looks like Oneplus plans to do that. According to the latest report, Oneplus is working on top-class folding smartphones that have the potential to successfully get to the US market.

The report comes belonging to people who can usually be trusted in Pricebeda, which quote Leaker Smartphone Yogesh Yogesh Brar as a source of information. Unfortunately, very little is known about the oneplus telephone that has never been released today, save for the fact that it will be a superior class device. Yogesh, however, indeed claimed that the model could attract many inspirations from the folded find N – folded smartphones released earlier this year by Oneplus’ Parent Brand Oppo. In fact, there is a strong possibility that Oneplus will only change Oppo to find n and release it as his first folded phone.

Oneplus and cellphone history rebranding

Being a part of the Large BBK Empire that has smartphone brands such as Oppo, Vivo, Realme, Iqoo, and Oneplus, there have been more than one occasion when we have seen the brand of this sister share with each other’s hardware. In the case of Oneplus, his flagship smartphone has traditionally replaced Rebrand from the oppo series. Although this trend has changed in the past few generations, OnePerlus smartphones at lower prices than the Nord series continued to rename other BBK phones. It is likely that we can see this strategy applied to folded space, too.

Whereas for Oppo find its own, this folding phone certainly stands apart from other devices in its category thanks to a very different design and comfortable ergonomics. In our reviews, we like the phone and are only disappointed because of lack of support for IP rankings and limited availability. This phone was visited by the previous generation flagship chip: Snapdragon 888 from Qualcomm. It also has up to 12GB of ram and colossal 512GB storage.

The internal folding display measures 7.1 inches and launched with a rather unconventional resolution of 1920 x 1792 pixels. But the AMOLED panel supports 120Hz refresh speed and HDR10 + standard. The external cover display is also quite large at 5.5 inches and the 1971 x 988 pixel resolution feature. However, this level of refresh is closed up to 60Hz.

As from the specification sheet, Oppo found N, if it was resetted as an Oneplus phone, almost certainly will be positioned under the Samsung Galaxy Z series – which is actually not a bad thing given that there are almost no other competitors in the segment.
