From the beginning, Chinese telephone makers were born brands to attract the next generation of smartphone users. Fresh, brave, and idealistic, young brands check all boxes to serve the crowd who share the same nature and ideals – and want something fresh. And what way is better to score points than with a telephone design that shows it really knows the audience.
Realme has released a special edition with a design that touched the chords with car lovers, fashionistas, and even anime fans. Following the success of the Dragon Ball Z edition last year, Realme did it again to tickle the favorite of manga and anime fans, this time with GT Neo 3 dressed as the most noisy ninja of all time, Naruto. The result is an attractive and productive device that touches almost all points that occur.
The GT Neo 3 Naruto Edition Realme Design is its most typical and honest feature, is the real reason for its existence. Without it, however, it is only GT Neo 3. Anything that is impressive, however, is a tiring detail borne by the phone to clearly show its bond with popular characters, not to mention the circle that is passed by Realme to get there. More than just a simple paint work or even a kasing, this Naruto edition offers several new techniques that distinguish phones, even for things that you cannot see.
The back of the phone is still made of glass, but you will not think so by seeing it or even touching it. The camera area that resembles Naruto’s headband feels like a separate part of the entire surface and even feels somewhat like metal. The micro 3D pattern makes the bolt on the “metal” piece stand out without the tightening of the lump. “Mustache” on each side of the black area is visible and feels different too, almost like a shiny plastic to the smooth matte texture of the back glass. And, of course, there are three different colors played here, once again something that is possible by the process of making a special and expensive realm.
The edge of the aluminum mobile is all black, continuing with the theme of Naruto’s typical clothing during the Shippuden period later. The color also makes the button and hole almost disappear, which is quite fitting for ninja -themed design. The GT Neo 3 Naruto edition is clearly prominent and can be easily identified by Naruto fans, but the orange colors that are fiery and camera lumps like strange metals will definitely attract anyone’s attention, whether they have even heard about Naruto or not.
Special notes must be given to the telephone packaging and accessories. Instead of plain boxes with Naruto-themed colors or stickers, this phone actually came in a cylinder container designed like a ninja roll. Bricks and charging cables sharing the same orange and black motifs, and even Ejectors of the SIM tray shaped like the Naruto hometown logo. Realme certainly deserves to get a props to do all the impressive Naruto fans.
The back of Naruto’s cellphone is where all design actions are located, but that does not mean that the front is not very interesting. This 6.7 -inch screen is able to do a 120Hz refresh rate and supports HDR10+, which makes images and UI look excited and smooth. The AMOLED screen is bright enough, although it does have a little problem standing under the sun. Crispy and accurate colors, thanks to 1 billion colors that can be displayed. The weakness itself is the resolution of 2412×1080, which is OK but feels a little date by the 2K standard today.
Unfortunately, the audio mobile story is less impressive than its appearance but not gloomy at all. It has a stereo speaker, for one, which you don’t always find on the mobile in this tear, special edition or vice versa. It becomes hard too, but there is distortion that is seen at maximum volume. The output is not the best.
