Most iPhone users have at least some different applications they want to get rid of but cannot, or just don’t want to mess up the veranda screen and folder. Depending on the situation, delete them might not be possible. For example, many applications that are built-in to iOS cannot be deleted. Or in other cases, as with the “Camera” application, it really does not need an intrusive application icon when the function is built into the iPhone control center.
Maybe a little excessive must shuffle icons for functions that are less or less into the iPhone interface. It can also be annoying to find a place for certain applications (such as, how often do you really use the “Clock” application?) That you never use but instead can’t get rid of it. But it doesn’t have to be like that.
Fortunately for situations like this, you can hide the application instead. It does not delete it from your cellphone, and thus will not free up any storage space, but can be an effective way to issue their icons without making the application itself inaccessible.
In settings
One way to hide the application on your iPhone is escape through your settings. Any application that has been hidden in this way can still be found through application libraries or search functions. This application will also still appear in the settings, regardless of whether it has been hidden or not.
It should also be noted that you cannot hide any application completely, say for privacy reasons, because it will still be found in the application library. The only way to prevent applications appear in the application library is to delete it from your iPhone.
Open the settings and tap Siri & Search.
Scroll down to the application list and find the application or application you want to hide.
Tap the application name in the list, then Toggle Show on the Home screen to position OFF.
To “not hide” the application that was previously hidden for any reason, repeat these steps but switch shows on the veranda screen instead.
From the veranda screen
If you prefer not to dig through the settings menu, you can also hide the application one by one directly from your veranda screen.
Find the application you want to hide on your iPhone Home screen (or in any folder you might set).
Tap and hold on the screen for a while until your iPhone vibrates and the application icon starts to sway. Each icon will also have a “-” symbol that looks close to the upper left corner.
Tap the “-” symbol on the icon you want to hide to attract a new menu. Depending on the application, you will see the option to delete the application, delete from the Home screen, and cancel.
Tap Delete from the Home screen to hide the application icon.
You can also hide the application icon manually by tapping and holding the icon itself to attract a different menu.
Tap Delete the application at the bottom of this menu.
Confirm hiding the application by tapping delete from the Home screen.
To make a hidden application icon appear again, highlight it to the right of the veranda screen to attract UPP library of your iPhone application.
Find the hidden application in your application library, or use the search bar.
Tap and hold the application icon for a while to draw a new menu, then tap Add to the Home screen. The application icon will reappear either on your home screen, or, if previously set into a folder, returning in the folder is placed before it is hidden.
